Cool Math Ambulance Game

Good to know

Here is a very interesting information that can come from the National Institute for Consumer Affairs.

National Consumer Institute: the rights of rail passengers

suppressed or delayed trains, equipment failure, rupture of catenary snowfall, the presence of people on the road, rights of subscribers, and service strike Minimum: what are the rights of rail passengers? To learn more, the National Institute of Consumer Affairs (INC) has released a new online factsheet on the subject.

This sheet presents the first compensation proposed by the SNCF on the outline (TGV, Corail Intercity, Téoz, Lunéa) if canceled trains but also for late arrival (including the "commitment Guaranteed hourly "which provides for compensation from 30 minutes late on a course of at least 100 km). The information about the INC then details the compensation on regional trains (TER, RER, Transilien), the IDTGV and international trains such as Eurostar, Thalys or Artesia. Moreover, the INC sets out the rights of passengers
  • if the train is canceled, the ticket must be repaid, the traveler may request additional compensation
  • if the train arrives late, the INC recalls the duty of the carrier's punctuality, harm may be suffered by travelers , terms of encryption of compensation and situations of force majeure.
Finally, the INC also shows how to pursue their claims out of court (customer service carrier, mediator of the SNCF, consumer associations and user groups, European Consumer Centre in France) and justice (time to act against who, what court).
